Apologies are everywhere.
They show up in public announcements, press conferences, company emails, breakups, group chats, family dinners, and moments when something has gone wrong and someone is trying to make it right.
But while we hear apologies constantly, we’re rarely taught how to apologize well - or how to recognize when an apology actually repairs harm versus when it simply protects reputation.
